Another one of Little Fingers' new words is SHOES! She signs it and says it! She's even giving me her SHOES when she wants to go OUTSIDE. OUTSIDE is a big part of our lives right now (a daily occurrence, so SHOES is highly reinforcing).
Great! New words are always fun! But I remember when my oldest was 12 months old and we were teaching her to day "down" when she had finished eating. We were working over and over saying, "Say down." It took us a few minutes before we realized whenever we said to say, "down" she was FROWNING! Nothing like getting your words mixed up at age 1!! ;-D
